  • Joel grew up in the Mississippi Delta town of Greenwood, surrounded by fertile farmlands, hardwood groves, and abundant wildlife. His love and respect for the land and its bounty have grown since childhood.

After completing his degree in business at the University of Mississippi, Joel began his career as a property appraiser in Arkansas. He continued to enhance his credentials as he focused on farming and recreational property development. He has earned a record of trust and vast experience over the last five years as he has brokered over 60,000 acres in land sales.

Joel was integral in developing the England Joint Venture, an extensive conversion of privately owned farmland into the conservation and wetlands reserve program. At that time, the England Joint Venture was the largest such project of its kind. He has helped develop, market, or manage legacy properties such as Prairie Wings, White Oaks Duck Woods, Wild Wings, Quack Shack, Two Rivers Duck Club, Lacotts, Decoy Farms, Lone Oak Duck Club, and White Oaks Bayou DeView.

Joel has professional relationships with Hancock Natural Resources Group, Farmland Partners, Inc., Goldcrest, International Farming Company, Homestead, Westchester, Agricultural Company of America, and Cottonwood. He brings his clients expertise in land valuation, land development and enhancement, and land management. Additionally, with his dedication to stewardship, he offers clients expert knowledge of green-tree reservoir development and conservation easements. His experience in agribusiness and knowledge of hydrology enables him to advise clients on potential ways to maximize their assets.

Joel and his wife, Mimi, live in Little Rock and are the parents of three children - Elliott, Patton, and Carter. They all enjoy hunting and fishing together and hope to continue to preserve the legacy for generations to come.
